One of the huge things I’ve been worried about is metastasis. That’s when the cancer has spread to other distant areas in the body. It really lowers survival chances.
That’s what our scan was for today. To see if it’s spread. I wasn’t going to find out results until Thursday but my amazing surgeon called me today, Dr. Kolkman and said NO METASTASIS!
NO METASTASIS! NO METASTASIS!! NO METASTASIS!!!!
He did say there was some lymph swelling on the left which is weird and earned me an MRI but no Mets! NO METS!
I’m so glad to hear this Julia!!
Great news. So glad for you. Now move on to the next step of treatment. Praying.
Sounds like you have great news. Knock this right out of the ball park.
That is awesome news. One hurdle down.
So absolutely thankful!!! Hooray!! Time to celebrate!
That news is some of the best news, other than remission! One step at a time, right?
Prior to Dad’s final dx of Hodgkins Lymphoma, all we knew for a week was a 9cm mediastinal mass that was partially inside his right atrium. When the PET scan showed no other involvement (besides lymph) it was the same response. No Mets! So happy for this news!
Gosh all the waiting is the worst!!! And at the same time it feels like there’s so much going on. Every day an appointment
Great news – and I’m so thankful that your doctor shared the good news immediately rather than making you wait until Thursday!
