Surgery Update

Hello Warriors,

I just wanted to spend this time to give you a little update on Julia. On Tuesday, her surgery officially began at 9 am and ended at 4:30 pm. Everything went well and she spent the night in Clarkson Hospital at UNMC. She’s spent the last couple days in recovery: getting a lot of sleep, taking periodic 5-minute walks around the backyard pool, and getting her nutrients.

We’ll update you with more in a little bit. For those who have signed up to help on the calendar, we will reach out to you with information, tips, and any other info.

Thank you for the support and positive vibes you’ve sent us. It’s your strength that has helped motivate Julia and strengthen her will in this journey. I appreciate it and you so much.
